Why is Alien: Isolation the scariest game?
Fear of the unknown is in many survival horror games, and jump-scares are used quite regularly. In Alien Isolation, the "unknown" element is a bit more novel to me with the motion detector mechanics. Things that can kill you in one hit within seconds of spotting you are running around in the floor, walls, ceiling, etc.
